What happens if I cannot accept the parcel?

For deliveries via Hermes parcel shipping: If you are not at home when the items are delivered, the delivery person will usually leave a message telling you when the parcel will be redelivered. You will also receive a telephone number with this notification, which you can use to arrange a preferred date for a new delivery.

If your parcel has been redirected to a parcel store, you also have the option of filling out a power of attorney and having the parcel collected from your parcel store by a person authorized by you. You can download the power of attorney as a PDF from the Hermes website.
